該作品是藝術家Nike Savvas在悉尼巴蘭加魯開發(fā)局的委托下創(chuàng)作的臨時性藝術裝置，被安置在Barangaroo南部的交易廣場?！癙apillon”在法語中是蝴蝶的意思，懸浮的外觀展現(xiàn)出藝術家對色彩和形式的獨到運用，帶來富有變化和沉浸感的體驗。該作品由藝術家和UAP事務所合作完成，帶有光澤的塑料彩帶能夠對周圍環(huán)境做出反應，同時為觀眾營造出一種多感官的迷幻氛圍。

Nike Savvas was commissioned by the Barangaroo Development Authority to create a temporary artwork installed at Exchange Square, Barangaroo South as part of a Temporary Art Initiative. Savvas’ work titled Papillon (French for butterfly), is a suspended installation that showcases the artists signature use of colour and form to create transformational and immersive experiences. Produced in collaboration with UAP, the work is comprised of colourful, glossy plastic ribbons (bespoke bunting) that are suspended overhead and react to surrounding environmental conditions. The work offered a captivating multi-sensory experience designed to mesmerize, transport and transform the viewer.
